| My start in personal assisting came when I was helping a friend of mine, Jan, with the agency she owned. I would organize her office, complete logistical tasks and basically help her with anything she needed. She really appreciated my help, and I truly enjoyed seeing the impact I had on alleviating her stress.
Over the years, I have worked in many capacities similar to this and have further developed what I am able to offer. Some of the services I offer as a personal assistant include home organizing, project management, phone and e-mail communication, mailing letters, computer work, running errands, preparing meals, shopping and filing. I am quite proficient with computers and specialize in working with Macs and am good with PC’s as well. I’ve also had quite a bit of experience with vegetarian meal prep and truly enjoy making nourishing food for others. As a caregiver and childcare provider I started quite young. I used to baby-sit when I was ten for a family right down the block. I have taken care of the children of many families over the years and I have had one long term elder care client who I worked with for just over two years. I love working with both children and adults. I see service as an integral part of my path in life. I am currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at CIIS and have spent a great deal of time in my life studying psychology, the healing arts and ecology. Some avenues of personal creative expression include being a poet, a writer and a vocalist. Just recently, I have begun to offer sessions in Intuitive Astrology and Intuition Medicine.
