| 1) What areas do you service?
Practical Altruism currently services Marin county as far north as Novato, as far west as Lagunitas, and service some clients in the east bay in from El Sobrante to Berkeley. 2) How much do you charge per hour? Each Practical Altruism participant sets their own rates. Rates generally vary based on services performed, distance travelled, and length of shifts. All Practical Altruism members will take financial hardship into consideration when setting rates. 3) How do we contact you? Each caregiver has an email and/or phone number listed on their individual web page. These pages can be accessed by clicking on the name or photo of any participant listed on the “Practical Altruism Team” page. Click on the “Practical Altruism Team” link in the upper menu on all pages ofthis site. 4) Do you come to my home? Yes, we are in-home care providers. Our goal is to help our elders continue living in their own homes and assist their families in caring for them. We also want to give your children the comfort of playing in a familiar home environment.
