I am committed to enriching the lives of others through reliable and personalized care.  With over 16 years experience caring for elderly and disabled adults I offer medical and loving companion care as well as  personal assistance in most small business enviroments. With elder care, I primarily promote safety and comfort in the home and life enrichment through outings. My experience working with several people stricken with Lou Gehrig’s Disease has taught me many medical skills as well as brought out my personal qualities of compassion and patience.  My organizational talents come from over 20 years working in office enviroments.  I am blessed to be able to be of service to those in need. 

In the area of care giving I have extensive experience with: 

  • Bathing and dressing quadriplegics, paraplegics and elderly clients
  • Hoyer lifts and safe transfers with transfer boards and gait belts
  • Medication dispensing and ordering, including injections
  • Ventilators, trach care, suctioning lungs and tube feeding
  • Wound care
  • Working with nursing teams and Hospice on care plans
  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Motivating and enabling others to get out and enjoy life

 In the area of personal assistance I have experience with:

Answering phones, filing, creating and scanning files, computer input, compiling information and report preparation, preparing and checking documentation, making appointments and maintaining calendars, ordering supplies, etc.
